Internasjonalt seminar:
PALESTINE 2024
- a turning point towards a two-state solution?

An awful new chapter in the long-term conflict between Israel and Palestine started in October 2023 following the Hamas-led attack and Israel's indiscriminate warfare response.

As the numbers of killed civilians in Gaza increases, the world opinion is shifting. After eight decades with war, occupation and settler establishment, people worldwide are taking to the streets protesting in favour of humanity and justice.

Despite the atrocities we are witnessing, this seminar tends to investigate the possibilities for 2024 to be a positive turning point - towards peace, justice and sovereignty for both Palestineans and Israelis.

  •  What can history tell us about root-causes and the failed peace attempts, and what can we learn from the past?
  •  Which conditions must be fulfilled for a two-state-solution to be an option?
  • What role can the international community and diplomacy, including Norway, play?

Seminaret holdes på Engelsk!
